Job Description
Located in Harbeson DE, the role of the EMT will be the following:
Administers direct care of employees in a poultry production plant environment with professional expertise according to medical directives and within the scope of practice and regulations, while working under direct supervision of the Safety, Health and Risk Control Manager.
· Provide medical assistance during emergency situations, such as CPR, AED, prevent shock, control severe bleeding, prevent spinal damage, etc.
· Evaluate a patient’s condition in order to determine the right course of treatment.
· Create a patient care report and take notes of the medical treatment given to the patient.
· Keep the equipment clean after use; check and replace damaged and used supplies.
· Attend continuing education and refresher training programs as required by employers' medical direction and/or the certifying agency.
